Dr Mark Hayes

FRACGP, MPH, MD

Mark graduated from University of Melbourne with distinction in 2016 and completed his General Practice training in 2021. He has worked in many places from big city hospitals in Melbourne to small remote Aboriginal communities in NT and FNQ. As well as being a GP, Mark works part-time at Geelong Hospital, where he is training to be a Public Health Doctor.

Mark likes working in partnership with patients to improve both their physical and emotional wellbeing, using the best available evidence from medical research. He enjoys all areas of general practice and advocates for prevention, where possible, being better than cure.

Outside of work Mark really enjoys his calisthenics body strength training, boardgames, gardening, learning languages and has just started singing lessons!
