Dr Shiromi Wimalaguna

Shiromi is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP). She graduated from Monash University in 2008 and completed her early medical training through Alfred Health with electives in Obstetrics and Psychiatry.
Shiromi has a special interest in Mental Health. She has undertaken additional training in this area, particularly in the management of anxiety and depression in all age groups. She has a further interest in Fertility Medicine with particular focus on egg freezing, IVF and surrogacy counselling.
Shiromi is passionate about adolescent health and has provided health education programs to local high schools to address issues regarding smoking cessation, bullying, internet addiction and sexual health. She takes a pragmatic, caring and friendly attitude towards patient care.
In her life beyond the consulting room, Shiromi enjoys cooking, listening to podcasts and discovering new weekend brunch spots with her husband and young son. She also has an adorable and much loved labrador named Snickers.
She is available for consultation on Wednesdays and Fridays.
